Eagle D

This is from the Eagles and picked up by the Associated Press----Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Jerome McDougle underwent emergency surgery on Monday afternoon to correct an internal hernia caused by adhesions and scar tissue from his previous operation following his gunshot wound in July.
The surgery was performed at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Washington Township, N.J. by Dr.Michael Sasso.
"It's an unfortunate setback for Jerome," Eagles head coach Andy Reid said. "It's a shame because he's worked extremely hard over the past several weeks to return to the practice field. After today's events, that obviously won't happen anytime soon. We wish him all the best in his recovery from this surgery."

A setback, yup.
Tough on Jerome, yup.
The Eagles remain the team to beat in the NFC East.
But Andy, what are you going to do about LaDainian on Sunday? Show us some defense.
