Owens leaves Eagles training camp
Comcast Sports is reporting that Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens exchanged words with Head Coach Andy Reid at a team meeting this afternoon and the receiver then was kicked out of the session.
He left camp, according to the report.

ok, now this is getting a little scary. i hate talking about the TO situation, but if he does not play then we are looking at Lewis, Brown and McMullen being our starting and slot receivers. What is that a combined 20 NFL catches? Combine that with only 1 TE with some experience (give it up to my boy from RU), and the rotating infirmary of RBs, and this usually overly optimistic and horrible spelling homer is getting a little nervous. At least our defense looks oh so solid.
Oh wait, i just thought of a positive. maybe lewis brown and mcmullen become superstars this season. at least there is little (or lack of) evidence to argue against that.
Bench TO. It's the only way. He's had his way with the league for far too long, it's time for someone to stand up to him. Let him bitch and moan and throw temper tantrums all he likes, I say the birds just bite the bullet, pay him what they owe him this year, and keep him on the bench the entire season. No trades, no cuts, nothing. When he inevitably opens his mouth, just dismiss him with a shrug, or maybe, "We don't place much stock in what a number 5 reciever has to say."
TO is 31 years old, if the Eagles benched him the entire season, he would never come back the same. I'd be more than willing to sacrifice his big play ability for spite's sake. ESPN.com says Peter Warrick may be cut by Cincinnati, I'd be fine with him, Lewis, and Brown as the recievers just so I could see TO pouting on the sideline every week.
In either case, the offense is going to be a lot more focused on the ground this year with Buckhalter back (provided he's healthy) and with the addition of Moats.
Perhaps it's time to get Koren Robinson's phone number...
Go to hell TO. He's probably been looking for an excuse to leave camp since he arrived, Reid must have finally set him off. The Eagles are one of the most respected orginizations in the league and they cannot seem to control this egotistical jerk. I can't imagine that there will be a huge push from any team to sign TO after this year. Just go ahead and keep digging yourself in deeper and deeper TO, no one in the league will want a 32 year old cancer in their locker room next year.
