Do the Eagles need Price or Warrick?

The Associated Press reports:
The Cincinnati Bengals released wide receiver Peter Warrick, a former first-round draft pick who played in only four games last seasonbecause of leg injuries.
National Football League teams had to reduce their rosters to 65 playerstoday. Clubs are required to set their 53-man regular-season rosters by Sunday, five days before the opening game between the New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders.
The Atlanta Falcons released wide receiver Peerless Price, whom coach Jim Mora Jr. said hasn’t been a “fit” for the team since signing a $37 million contract in2003 to be the featured target for quarterback Michael Vick.
Other notable players released include Denver Broncos running back Maurice Clarett, quarterback Danny Kanell and defensive tackle Luther Elliss; Tampa BayBuccaneers running back Charlie Garner; and Chicago Bears quarterback Chad Hutchinson, who started five games last season. The New England Patriots cut kick returner Chad Morton.
Warrick, the fourth pick in the 2000 NFL draft, asked Bengals’ officials thisweek to release him in its first round of cuts if he wasn’t going to be in theteam’s plans this season.
“There is some disappointment involved in making this move,” Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said in a statement. “But I believe it’s in the best interest of theBengals and Peter to go forward.”
Depth Chart
Warrick, 28, had dropped on the depth chart behind starters T.J.Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson, as well as backups Kelley Washington, KevinWalter, Chris Henry and Cliff Russell. Warrick had just 11 receptions for 127yards last season.
The Bengals also placed veteran safety Kim Herring on season-ending injured reserve with a shoulder problem and signed linebacker Hannibal Navies and safety Ifeanyi Ohalete. Navies was waived by the Green Bay Packers this week, while Ohalete was cut by the Arizona Cardinals.
Price, 28, was acquired by Atlanta in 2003 for a first- round draft pick aftercatching 94 passes for 1,252 yards and nine touchdowns for the Buffalo Bills. He had 838 receiving yards and three scores for the Falcons in his first season, and575 receiving yards and three touchdowns last year.
“Sometimes things just don’t work out,” Mora said at a news conference. “It just didn’t fit here right now, that’s the bottom line.”

These advertisers should be shot. Repeatedly. The Eagles should go after Price because he's solid on character issues and has enough cash from Atlanta that he'd sign for the veteran minimum, or at the least an incentive-laden contract.
