Laughing? He's thinking, do I want to come back to this sinking ship?

reid is a moron for calling the play. mcnabb is a bigger moron for being incapable of recognizing that he didn't even have a pass and threw it anyway. the eagles are done. we have seen the end of the reid-mcnabb era tonight. this is all for the best.

McNabb is the most overrated QB in the league. I am so tired of hearing the media make excuses for his brutal decision-making in the clutch.

This is one of the reasons not to bash one individual player as some of Phildelphia has done to T.O. - along with McNabb & management.

The Eagles, with 2:58 remaining in the 4th Quarter - leading 20-14 - needed a big-time wideout like T.O. - and did not have him there.

McNabb throws a unneeded pass - intercepted & returned for a TD.

McNabb, back in game with less than 2:00 minutes and obviously hurting (what is Reid thinking?) fumbles the ball - Eagles recover.

Reid, rather than putting in Cortez to kick a 61-yarder against the Dallas team that cut him - sends in Ackers, just off injured reserve. He misses the field goal.

Eagles lose.

Even after McNabb seemingly blows the game, if Reggie Brown simply catches that pass, the Eagles have an easy field goal attempt to win the game. Another classic Eagles choker in the making. The ball was right in his hands!!

Y'all come on down here to Texas now. Got better weather, better looking women, and we play a little football too, as you know.

T.O. is Right. The Eagles would be better off without McNabb and be better off with T.O.

Get rid of McNabb, and Bring Back the Great T.O.!!

TO is rite Mcnabb cost us the super bowl and he has been regularly throwing killer 4th qtr Interceptions!!
Where are all the sports Journalists and Howard Eskin saying now? It is TO's fault that Mcnabb was throwing to whom!!!!!! The eagles management deserves this after grossly mismanaging TO Situation. I think TO had a point in accusing management and Mcnabb. If you want happens to Eagles after TO leaves, LOOK at NINERS!! It seems like TO has problems with average QB only( look Garcia , backup to worst QB in the league)

I wonder if Owens is still apologetic now with the Eagles having a legitimate shot at being 4-12?

i have rooted for the raiders since 1960.i lived in philly for 44 years...do you get now

Eagles organization deserves this king of blow to the stomach for being vindictive and manipulative. TO doest not have the " smooth" attitude and is not politically correct.
What about the eagles for mainpulating the media and trying to not let him play for the whole yr so he is screwed. LOW !!

I cant stand Salisbury or any of the ex NFL players on ESPN. They know nothing. They are just cliches monkeys!
He has been on Anti TO stance that he cant even admit that Donovan is killing the team bcos that would amount to TO being rite!
He is trying to get a job as GM in the league. He may turn out to be another Matt Millen.

T.O. needs to be back in an Eagles uniform. Perhaps after the Monday night debacle - now COMMON SENSE can enter the Eagles management & organization and T.O. will at least be back on the field.

In order to salvage this season - the Eagles and about 60% of the Philadelphia needs to take a huge step back and stop with the media "hype" against one player.

With Owens in the Monday Night game against the Cowboys - the Eagles win - hands down.

This is typical of childish minds - and that includes ESPEN - do you hear me Sal? - and McNabb ("somebody's trying to get back in here... hahaha" - it's not funny now is it Donovan.

Clearly - it is not only T.O. who has some aplogizing to do.

Eagles now 4-5 - can they save this season and go 11-5?

Time - and some rather bloated Eagles egos (not only T.O,'s) have just popped - believe me - T.O. is going to play again for the Eagles.

If he does not - its bad times in Philadelphia for the team because McNabb cannot throw AND catch the football.

Does anyone know where to find Randall Cunningham? He could throw and and run down the field and catch his own throws, he could block and probably kick field goals, given the chance. When he was here, He WAS the Eagles team.

This is a return of the favor of the Miracle of the Meadowlands!

Enjoy! Maybe you can get Herman Edwards for your coach.

Yes, the media loves Donavan and that is nice that there is a Black quarterback which is loved by the media. A black fair head boy - very rare. I do not hold that against him (being black myself). But, the facts are the facts. Donavon made the same throw last week against Washington and was intercepted. I to question his decision making in critical situations (such as in last years super bowl - when New England was there to be beaten). This team needs T.O more than T.O needs them. In the long term he will be o.k. But I do not understand the "anger" that some of the talking heads have against him - as if he has done something personal to them. The ball that Brown dropped, is not dropped by T.O. But even without T.O, the Eagles should have won this game.

No one has ever answered the question - why did Donovan McNabb seem very, no let's say too tired, in last year's Super Bowl? Was he out drinking 2 nights earlier and not able to perform? On the field T.O. always seemed to give 100% to the game with lots of enthusiasm. Let's see, we really have "moved on" haven't we?

This defeat was for the whole "celebrating Michael Irvin's near paralysis" thing. B|tches!

FB here--way before donovan got his hernia hit--I'm sure MAMA said to her little boy-"now you be careful, sweety, and don't run so much cause if you get hurt-someone else will take your place and we could lose our lucretive soup commercial and maybe some other things llke our big houses all over the country-so please honey-don't run-just throw the ball anywhere and hope they catch it---good boy.
So he stopped running even if nobody was open and he had a lane a mile wide. Welllll--he got hurt without running--

McNabb SUCKS!!! There, I said it. T.O. was not the problem, he just said what everyone else was thinking or wanting to say after that Super Bowl fiasco. McNabb ran out of gas at the end and it cost us the game. T.O. spoke out against our "chosen one" and McNabb and Reid have been out to get him ever since. Now we don't have either one, but we'd be better off if T.O. is allowed to return and McNabb moves on and sells soup in some other town.

If T.O. ends up playing for the Cowboys while we end up stuck with Donovan "McChoke" I don't know if I can take it. You know that twice a year T.O. will play the game of his life just to rub it in our faces.

hey philly send mcnabb to dallas where he can learn to manage a game while he is still young enough to learn,he needs a kick in the pants not a bunch of excuse makers bailing him out of every situation.

At 12:43 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

you can have McNabb, we'll take Bledsoe straight up. I'm tired of getting close only to have McNabb throw a pic or simply run out of gas at the wrong time!!! Then when a teammate calls him on it, look out!!! just see what happened to T.O.
