Owens out, can Eagles win?

Well, the Eagles went ahead and suspended wide receiver Terrell Owens.
The apology was not enough. Even made live on television.
This leaves open the question of whether he will ever appear in an Eagles uniform again.
At this hour, the Inquirer's poll is showing about 7 out of 10 people strongly feel he should have been suspended.
About half of the respondents to ESPN's poll think he will never be in an Eagles uniform again.
We think he will.
Because he's got to get paid and he won't lose $205,000 per game and still be able to eat.

I have to say that I am kinda in the middle on this. I like that fact that T.O. makes things happen for this team, whether good or bad. WE all were aware of what he was gonna bring to the team. I like T.O. I likr that he speaks his mind and has brought the attitude that we always needed. So he makes a few true statements about a few key players. MeNabb is a selfish and GROSSLY overpaid quarterback, he may have been worth the $$$ a long time ago but now he is a banged up, not accurate, over rated, basically all of the things Rush Limbaugh said. Anyway, my point is this, 3 division games to go could they have suspended him later?

I am writing from Tampa and have disliked Philadelphia (Eagles, Sixers etc.) my whole life. Given the recent suspension of TO, I sincerely hope that the Eagles go undefeated the rest of the year and WIN the Super Bowl (as long as he isn't on your team).

I am dead serious.

No, the Eagles cannot win either the division or Super Bowl withour Terrell Owends. I place most of the blame on the organization, specifically the head coach, Andy Reid. All T.O. did was speak the truth and answered a question about a comment that a sports commentator (Michael Irvin) made on national T.V. As far as not recognizing his 100th career td, management is taught to recognize it's associates for a job well done. Is it our fault that we do not have that many receivers that can boast that they have scored 100 career touchdowns? How many different excuses is an employee suppose to accept?

I'm glad that TO has been suspended. I knew before he joined the team that he was not a Philly kind of player. I am surprized that his teammates haven't shut him up, or confronted him earlier. How would it look if D'Mac would say the same kinds of things about his teammates?
