Final Score: Redskins 17, Eagles 10

LANDOVER, Md. -- I hate to be the one to question the playcalling by the Eagles when they had first and 10 on the Redskins 13-yard line. But what the heck was that? Brian Westbrook wasn't even on the field for the last two plays of the series. I repeat - Brian Westbrook wasn't even on the field for the last two plays of the series. Your best offensive weapon wasn't even given a chance to make a play. And then the plays the Eagles did come up with were less than desirable. The Redskins defense is good, but can't you at least get your main guy the ball once in those four downs?

Two weeks in a row with an interception on the goal line which has to be blamed on the playing and the coach

They just signed him to 25 million and they don't use him on 4th and 4????????

Where are those TO haters? He might be selfish but he is one hell of football player. And you know what he is right about Mcnabb. He is average QB and bad when he is hurt!. The play calling is horrendous. I think TO is gone for the rest of th year and so is eagles playoff hopes

TO is a bitch

I'm glad to see TO gone. I thought Reggie Brown did a pretty good job last night as did Greg Lewis (that reception on the 3 that the refs took away would have made the difference in the game). The passing game wasn't the problem, they need a 'pure' running back that can pound the middle, mabey in a trade for TO? I agree that they won't make the playoffs at this point, but theres still 8 games left and that's a long time...

I agree T.O. should be suspended for his actions and the Eagles need to hold the line on him. He needs to know that every time he acts up, he'll be suspended without pay. I also think that trading him would be the wrong thing to do. He'll just go somewhere else and be a problem nd they'll probably pacify him. If the Eagles hold the line and make him straighten up or not play for anybody, it will send a strong message to all of those so-called super stars out there. On the other hand, if T.O. straightens up and does what Brian Westbrook did (play and re-negotiate in a professionl manner), then and only then, should the Eagles consider paying him more or tading him. The trade option should only be considered after his complies with the team rules and only if the Eagles can get another big, strong and fast #1 receiver.

How do you not put your top weapon on the field with the season on the line, is beyond comprehension. Even if you did not plan to use Westbrook for any of the plays called in the last 2 minutes, you know his presence on the field would have dictated different types of coverage and possibly opened other holes in the defense.

Yesterday's physical performance by the beloved Mcnabb was one of this season’s best since his injuries. Unfortunately he cost the Eagles another game with that poorly thrown ball. I don't think he can blame that on any of his injuries nor can he blame his poor judgment at the end of the first half when he left points on the field. Did he have a mental lapse and think for a moment he was Peyton Manning throwing to Marvin Harrison which I’ sure have practiced that play many times and know each other so well that they can communicate on the field without words. I don't suspect he had ever discussed that situation with his intended receiver. Mcnabb is a good person and a great player but it is evident that if he is not 100% percent both physically and mentally he is a little better than average. He did show little signs of his old self on a few plays when he eluded several tackles and escaped from a couple of possible sacks.

In the short term and I mean next 3-4 games I don’t think the Eagles are a better team without T.O. but long term they will win without him, once they start having good practices and the team can regroup and start to gel without the disruptions in the locker room. Unfortunately the remaining 8 games are all must win games against tough opponents, so that means they better start “gelling” really fast during the week.

I say work up a deal with Green Bay to trade T.O. for Najeh Davenport and we can’t start planning for next year. Unfortunately I don’t believe Green Bay’s organization is that stupid to take such a trade, but you never know.

Infinity, I couldn't have said it better my-self.. Unfortunately T.O. is not very bright and he plays right into their hands. He's a great puppet. Hasn't anyone realized yet that this is how Irvin is getting back at Philly by using T.O. the Puppet, to distract the team. Did we all forget who ended Irvin's career?? Sadly enough, I think he acomplished his mission. Look at the standings....

The Eagles are in trouble, from the coaching to the QB. Where is the defense rushing the passer? Those guys have been out to lunch all season. We lost Simons and Reese to other teams, we have to start signing free agents. Gotta beat the Cowboys, with or without TO.

The Ship Has Sailed!!!

The offensive and defensive LINES both SUCK!!! Please watch a replay of any of this years games - and pay special attention to the performance of the OFFENSIVE LINE. It will put the performance of the team in perspective.

While McNabb is clearly thinking too much and "playing" too little, I believe the Iggles are jeopardizing his health with the play of the guys up front. Reid can't make them better, so he has to make due with GARBAGE (his garbage, yes - but not nearly what he could/should have expected).

Riddle me this, should Arizona or Detroit be unhappy and shocked that their lines STINK? Should either of them be confused with the teams record with such poor line play? THE EAGLES ARE EQUAL OR WORSE THAN BOTH ARIZONA AND DETROIT!

Enjoy your suite on the TITANIC....

T.O. did not choke in the Superbowl, nor did he throw interceptions that caused the last two losses. McNabb may be a nice guy but he won't win a Superbowl. Good luck with your nice guy!

I don't disagree with you anonymous!!! We aren't paying him all that money so that we can watch him and his mother on soup commercials and on the cover Playstation games.. Honestly the last 7 games I've been hoping someone would hit him hard enough to take him out of the game and give Mcmahon a chance to play. He's hurt the team enough already and enough of the injury excuses.
You want to be a team player then sit your ass down, go have surgery and come back when your healthy. Like I said, in order for him to be effective, Mcnabb needs his mental and physical abilities at 100% in order to be a caliber QB in the NFL. Without the two he's just another QB.

So long you self serving DUMASS. Good luck finding another team and a fanbase that adopted you and would have loved you forever. Too bad that you're so Stupid that you couldn't control your anger and you let that COKE head bait you into saying all those things, even though they were all truths you could have said them in a different manner or different venue. Good luck getting that big contract JACKASS!!

I have never read a bunch of idiotic comments. You all complain about the way McNabb has been playing...Sure he's hurt but I promise that each and every one of you pansies wouldn't make it through a set of downs without crtying for your mom. The Eagles don't need fans like you on their side, you would turn on your best friend

Jeff...you are sadly mistaken my friend.
The Eagles BEST offensive weapon was sitting at home watching the game because STUPID management and wouldn't renegotiate his contract as they should've in the first place.
Had Eagles management done the right thing by T.O. in the first place their best offensive weapon would have been on the field and probably would've caught the winning TD.
The anti-T.O. element are really just a bunch of suckers.
To say that he's poisoned the lockerroom is just STUPID. These are professional players, paid lots of dough, to step and play ball.
That's what T.O. brings...he's a baller!!!

4 yards, 3 downs, 1:45 left. Run the ball, run the ball and then run the ball. How hard is it Reid. Get the first down, make sure some time goes off the clock so the other team can't come back and score and then do whatever you want to do to actually score. 4 yards! The Eagles O-line would love the challenge.

I'm not an NFL defensive or offensive coordinator, let alone a Head Coach...but PLAY-ACTION on Forth and Four...goes against every instinct..the defense knows you are not going to run(especially this team)..I always hear that excuse that Reid runs the play-action to give McNabb more time...not to include that Westbrook was on the bench..what about all the TD's he has slipping out of the backfield or as a WR for a mismatch in the RedZone. The whole thing has me still cringing.
